Improvements for New Users
(Bruce Lewis) I just made three improvements in response to feedback from people new to OurDoings. A big thank you to everyone who gives feedback! I'm a big OurDoings user myself, but I'm not a new user, and the perspective fresh eyes bring is invaluable. For those who haven't given feedback yet, it's never too late. The first improvement was to put a registration tab right on the OurDoings home page. Previously you only found that registration tab by clicking the Log In tab first. That was way too subtle.
The second improvement was to add a Prints tab to the page for any given day. Click on any calendar icon and now it should be obvious how to add prints to your cart for that day. Previously there was only a small "Order Prints..." link at the bottom of each day's page. You wouldn't see it unless you scrolled all the way to the bottom. That was way too subtle.
Third, there's a section on the page where you upload photos with the heading, "Want to upload more than one photo?" It gives a bulleted list of options for uploading photos in batches. Those options were around before, but the way they were presented was way too subtle. Are you seeing a pattern here?
What would you like to see improved? Say it, and it's likely to happen. I'm eager to please.
